Shades of Grey

Choosing cabinetry colors can be difficult because there are many factors to consider, including personal preferences, the effect on resale value, and the tastes of others who share the space. Many potential clients often feel uncertain about where to start, so a design consultation in your space can be extremely beneficial. Often, you discover your design preferences by first identifying what you truly dislike.

I personally adore a grey kitchen, so when it was time to renovate ours, I was certain about choosing a shade called Rain Cloud. Although we had the option to select any door style, we opted for a wrapped door for its durability and ease of maintenance, especially with teenagers and dogs around. We also decided on a step shaker profile to achieve a look that is both modern and contemporary.

As mentioned earlier, most relationships function as a team where the opinions of both parties are valued and desired. If it had been solely up to me, we would have chosen a grey quartz countertop with minimal veining. However, considering the extensive use of quartz in our kitchen, including the backsplash, we ultimately opted for a white quartz with soft, subtle, and artistic veining. I am delighted with our decision and appreciate its sleek appearance, which keeps the area bright and open while still giving it a designer and modern vibe.
