Welcoming the Holidays…

The holidays are right around the corner, and I’ve come to realize there a few different types of people in this world when it comes to preparing for the holidays. There are those that decorate and prep the day after Halloween, christmas trees beaming in the front window as you come home from work on November 1st. There are those that wait patiently but still fully prepared for November 11th to pass, but then quickly bounce into action. There are the people who wait until what some would consider too late to even bother, December 1st to 23rd). And then there are what I consider the most interesting people (I fall into this catoegory myself), there are the people that wake up one day in the middle of December and decide they need to make an epic change to their home before they can even contemplate starting the process of holiday decorating. I find these are the people who still order the Pumpkin spice Latte and feel like the Labour Day weekend just passed in November. We all know the kind of person that seems a little taken aback when someone wishes them Happy Holidays for the first time of the season.

In my case this means things like painting the entire house a bold new color before buying discount christmas decorating items at Micheal’s, or wanting to redo a bathroom. Not because we have company over at christmas, but just for the the pure pleasure of seeing those Christmas Decorations up with a backdrop of new paint.

We do in fact get prospective clients that do this exact thing with full Kitchen and Home renovations, just proving that the world is full of all kinds.
